What you’ll do

At A2 Hosting our Quality Assurance Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring that our customers’ experience is ideal. The QA Engineer will work closely with Marketing, Systems Engineering, and Software Development to test changes made to our websites and hosting platforms to ensure that our customers have the best user experience possible across a variety of web browsers and devices. When bugs are identified, the QA Engineer will provide detailed guidance on how to reproduce them, and will work with the relevant teams to see that they are properly prioritized and resolved.

 

Who you’ll work with 

As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be working with a vast array of departments such as Marketing, Systems Engineering, and Software Development.  You value your team’s input as a result will be able to create the ideal website experience that is intuitive and easy to navigate. 

 

Who you are 

  • Create tests to identify software problems
  • Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
  • Document results of tests for the relevant team
  • Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
  • Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
  • Works together with software development, system engineering and marketing to enhance and improve programs
  • Research and compare similar competitor products
  • Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements

 

Skills you have 

  • 5+ Years of experience 
  • Extensive experience in testing with some experience in automation tools
  • High proficiency in computer technology and programming languages
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Able to sit in front of a computer for long hours at a time
