Software Engineer – Python, Go, C (Remote)

We are looking for a bright and motivated Software Engineer with an interest in developing highly scalable web applications to join our team. Our global distribution platform uses an API to seamlessly connect venues and resellers in real time, eliminating fraud risks, breakage and manual redemption processes. Our platform enables venues to connect with major resellers around the globe without the burden of expensive and intricate development work and allows resellers to gain broader inventory by providing connections to venues of any size with a single API plugin. As part of our distribution team, you’ll be helping resellers and venues connect in win-win partnerships while also providing a better experience for their patrons.
As a Software Engineer, you will be empowered to develop your skills. We have a focus on test-driven development and an iterative/agile process which encourages you to write robust code and get your changes out faster. You should have an interest in helping our team shape the software we build by bringing your ideas and enthusiasm, and have a logical and analytical approach to troubleshooting and solving problems and an interest in understanding systems end-to-end. Our backend services are mainly written in Python, with some services in Go and the core API powered by Objective C. We run most of our software in the cloud using Kubernetes and a microservices architecture. We use Continuous Integration pipelines to test and build our code. Eligible candidates must be authorized to work in the UK without requiring visa.
Location: United Kingdom; then, you choose what works for you! This role can be performed 100% remotely anywhere in the UK, at one of our office locations in the UK, or a hybrid version of in-office and remote.
