We’re seeking an Online Customer Service Representative with 2+ years’ full-time experience. In this role, you’ll be the voice of AlgaeCal across our online channels. You’ll be writing clear and concise responses to customer comments on social media. Your responses will make people feel heard, understood, and well taken care of.

Below are a few of the primary tasks you can look forward to while working from our office in Vancouver’s exciting Mount Pleasant area:

  • Show off your savvy customer service skills by responding to comments on AlgaeCal Facebook ads. Our ads get a ton of engagement and our aim is to reply to every comment, so this is where you’ll really get to flex your writing muscle! Check out this ad for a sneak peek.
  • Also respond to all inquiries that come up on our online channels including Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Youtube.
  • Provide 5-star support to customers and leads who reach out via Facebook and Instagram direct messages.
  • Answer questions and concerns that come up on the AlgaeCal blog. Have a scroll through the comments sections to see our responders in action!
  • Pull up accounts and dive deep into customer orders so you can personalize your responses.

Before you get started in your new role, you’ll join our top level training program to learn about bone health, our products and customers. You’ll be amazed at the knowledge you acquire at this stage, and feel inspired to share what you’ve learned with our community!

Ideal Candidate Skills

  • You’ve got exceptional written communication skills. And can craft concise, high-quality responses that are both honest and empathetic.
  • You’re a critical thinker with a keen ability to interpret questions, read between the lines, and find genuine solutions.
  • You’ve got more “chill” than a hippy polar bear. So you’re able to remain calm and empathetic when managing reactive comments on social media.
  • You’ve got top-notch time management skills and like to have a well organized workflow.
  • Interest & experience in the health and wellness field is a plus.
