The Accounting Manager leads and manages the day-to-day activities of the Avtex Accounting team. 


  • Assist the Controller with every aspect of maintaining the financial records of the company.
  • Work with the Controller to ensure all corporate policies and procedures are followed.
  • Manage Staff Accountants and Accounting Associates, including allocating work assignments; providing guidance and training; evaluating job performance and production of staff; giving constructive feedback; and contributing to hiring and performance management decisions.
  • Act as a liaison with external auditors in support of the annual and quarterly audit process, as well as periodic internal audits.
  • Analyze production variances and communicate issues to management.
  • Report final production costs to management.
  • Process receipts and save documentation. 
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of related Accounting management experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Great Plains helpful but not required
  • Business Acumen.
  • Hands-on Manager
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Critical evaluation and analytical ability
  • Interpersonal and Coaching skills.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Accuracy in preparation of documentation and reports

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure and properly prioritize multiple tasks.
