Job Summary

We are currently seeking a full-time Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator to join our People team. This role will own the project management around our recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring that each and every new hire has completed all necessary tasks during recruitment and prior to their start date. They will work closely with Brave’s recruiters to assist with the recruitment process, including sending written offer letters. After an offer letter with a new hire is signed, the Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator will work closely with the new hire, provide onboarding directions, and track all paperwork and to-do’s that must be completed prior to the hire’s start date. They will liaise cross-functionally with credentialing, IT, training, operations, and other departments to ensure all necessary onboarding steps are completed. We are looking for someone who has superb organizational skills including deep experience in project management. This individual can be based anywhere in the US and will work remotely from home, as does our entire national team.

Responsibilities:

  • Send written offer letters to candidates who have received a verbal offer to join the Brave team
  • Provide welcome letters to new hires, including comprehensive instructions of all tasks that must be completed prior to their first day
  • Project manage the onboarding process for all new hires from start to finish. This will include both task tracking using google spreadsheets or PM software, and providing the outreach and follow up to new hires who have outstanding onboarding tasks due
  • Answer new hire questions throughout the onboarding process
  • Work closely with other departments, including credentialing, training, IT, and operations, to ensure no onboarding task is missed
  • Serve as primary point of contact for new hires prior to their start date
  • Ensure new hire training schedules are planned and communicated to new employees
  • Check in with new hires the week prior to their start date to confirm equipment and training schedule has been received 
  • Conduct HR onboarding sessions with trainees

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of recruitment and onboarding coordination. Experience in a healthcare setting a plus; startup experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Knowledge of healthcare credentialing preferred
  • Project management experience in a fast-paced environment required
  • Remote work experience preferred
  • Prior experience using an Applicant Tracking System strongly preferred
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Works well under pressure and pays meticulous attention to detail
