Your Job: 
As the Sales Representative, Switzerland you are responsible for driving Brooks product sales revenue and margins within your territory (Mid-West region including: Jura, Solothurn, Bern, Valais, Ticino).  You manage all aspects of Brooks’ sales of footwear, apparel and accessories including sell-in and sell-through and define sales goals and marketing strategies for your territory.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Meet seasonal and yearly revenue plans for footwear, apparel, and accessories for assigned territory (Mid-West region including: Jura, Solothurn, Bern, Valais, Ticino). 
  • Enter all future booking orders through Brooks’ proprietary web-based tools, ensure the at once order flow during the season.
  • Define and execute sales programs via grassroots events, including in-store promotions, expos, store running teams, etc. to develop account relationships and drive product sell through.
  • Manage and schedule meetings with every client and provide a weekly roadbook plan.
  • Provide analysis and field feedback on competitor’s products, program and services as well as marketplace activities.
  • Be the expert on your territory, provide field feedback on competitor’s products, programs and services as well as marketplace activities.
  • Work with territory accounts to forecast, develop and implement yearly plans around their footwear and apparel needs in order to grow Brooks’ market share.
  • Work closely with technical representatives to manage and support the retailers and ensure alignment on revenue and marketing plans for the territory.
  • Travel required to tradeshows, such as Outdoor Retailer, bi-annual sales meetings, etc. 
  • Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing or related field desirable.
  • 3+ years’ footwear and apparel sales experience. 
  • Specialty retail (running) experience of at least one year required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and business English.
  • Business fluent in French.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company.
  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all of the pieces fit together and affect one another.
  • Demonstration of innovation and initiative – always looking at improving our products and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help out wherever necessary.
  • 70% travel is required.
  • General computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to listen and understand customer needs.
  • Ability to provide analysis and feedback on sell through both to Brooks’ corporate and accounts.
