Title: Mental Health Guide 
Overview: 
Cleo is seeking a Mental Health Guide to join our Mental Health Team on a contract basis (approximately 10-25 hours per week) providing working individuals and families with premium emotional wellness support, including but not limited to identifying emotions, connecting to resources and professional providers. As a Mental Health Guide, you will work closely with Cleo’s Mental Health, Clinical teams, and our Cleo member families. This position informs, guides, and makes decisions that support our program model. As our internal Mental Health expert, you will support Cleo’s growth, and most importantly expand our reach, impact, and outcomes.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Mental Health Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Cleo Guides as a dedicated Mental Health expert
  • Provide support when members screen positive following a mental health assessment and driving optimal communication and timely messaging to our members
  • Coordinate day-to-day communication and collaboration with Guides to support and drive member support 
  • Collaborate and provide input on our high-risk members, through weekly case-study reviews
  • Conduct timely cadence of check-in, support calls, support plan calls, and other relevant support as needed for members screening positive
  • Develop and maintain customized member Emotional Wellness Support Plans, and continue to update as needed 
  • Innovate and support the evolution of our Mental Health Program, seeking optimal member support and outcomes
  • Provide detailed and timely completion of administrative and supplemental activities, such as maintenance of family records, plans, and data in our proprietary system
  • Collaborate within the Member Operations department and larger cross-functional Cleo organization to support knowledge sharing and Cleo’s growth deliverables
  • To be successful in this role you may have:

  • 2+ years providing mental health support; experience in perinatal, postpartum Mental Health and/or experience with Child/Teen/Adult Mental Health training preferred
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve, think critically, and make decisions with a high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment to support program development and success
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; an ability to provide clear and concise guidance; through emails and over the phone or in-person with a casual and confident tone 
  • A solution-oriented mindset, an ability to be self-motivated, and an energy and drive driven to deliver exceptional member experiences, and to support families across the global
  • An eagerness to work in a collaborative environment; with the ability to effectively navigate technology such as Google Suite, Front, and Slack in a remote environment
  • An ability to thrive in an ever-changing, rapidly expanding fast-paced startup environment
