Description

The demand generation team is a critical part of the company's growth, providing hundreds of leads to our sales team every month. This person should use their analytical and creative muscles to achieve aggressive goals through new customer acquisition via paid channels. If you're looking to lead & define a full-funnel paid acquisition marketing strategy, we would love to hear from you.

What You Would Do

  • Lead Cobalt’s paid marketing strategy: identify opportunities based on data-driven hypotheses, manage the paid acquisition strategy and campaign creation process, while continuously optimizing and iterating to achieve better results
  • Own the paid advertising budget and use it to develop acquisition campaigns that achieve aggressive CPL, CAC, and lead volume goals
  • Oversee audience segmentation, execution, and performance tracking 
  • Manage and develop a small team of freelancers focused on paid channel execution
  • Partner with content, design and other key stakeholders on campaign strategy, positioning, messaging, and creative assets
  • Work with marketing operations to make data driven decisions about our paid strategy and continually evaluate assumptions and data around key metrics like cost per lead and conversion rate vs. performance and LTV.
  • Own paid content syndication through media publications relevant to the cyber security industry

You Must Have

  • Comfort working in a startup environment
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a paid acquisition role at a B2B company with budget ownership and proven track record of executing successful and scalable programs
  • Deep understanding of paid acquisition channels like Google Ads, Linkedin Ads, and others with an excitement to quickly learn about the latest industry trends and tactics
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to continuously optimize campaigns, identify audience segments, and present findings internally
  • Able to implement new ideas quickly and autonomously while working with a global team to share learnings
  • Experience with a modern marketing tech stack – Google Analytics, Hubspot, Salesforce, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager
