With multiple successful products, and our vocal advocacy for blockchain technology, we have played a major part in mainstream awareness and adoption of cryptocurrency. We are proud to offer an entire suite of products that are helping build the cryptoeconomy and increase economic freedom around the world.

There are a few things we look for across all hires we make at Coinbase, regardless of role or team. First, we look for signals that a candidate will thrive in a culture like ours, where we default to trust, embrace feedback, disrupt ourselves, and expect sustained high performance because we play as a championship team. Second, we expect all employees to commit to our mission-focused approach to our work. Finally, we seek people with the desire and capacity to build and share expertise in the frontier technologies of crypto and blockchain, in whatever way is most relevant to their role.

The Candidate Experience Team is a highly impactful group of managers, leads, and coordinators that leads candidate interactions across the entire company. The CE Team is a strategic and important support partner to the following stakeholders: Talent Strategy & Operations, Recruiting, People Operations, Learning & Development, and all non-technical and technical business functions. The Senior Manager of Global Candidate Experience will partner directly with the Director of Business Recruiting, effectively building out and executing our talent acquisition strategy and operations across all candidate touchpoints.

What you’ll be doing:

As the Senior Manager of Recruiting Coordination Ops, your ultimate goal will be identifying ways to provide a best-in-class candidate experience and interview process across all touch points of the candidate lifecycle. Your leadership and strategic thinking will help scale and streamline our recruitment processes, improve candidate experience, and will provide metrics and analysis on efficiency. Your scope includes managing a globally distributed and high performing team of managers, leads, and recruiting coordinators – supporting all business functions globally. We are expanding rapidly, so experience scaling distributed and international teams will be key. Your scope will also include owning forecasting demand and capacity planning, all scheduling and coordinating activities, and developing your team members so each teammate is fully trained, utilized, and developing in their career growth.

This role requires someone who can drive operational efficiency through innovative tooling, process improvements, and load balancing, all within a fast-paced and highly demanding environment. The most successful candidates will be strategic thought-partners in collaboration with other recruiting leaders in support of long-term company expansion and growth. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is a builder, thrives in a learning environment and is excited about building and optimizing processes across a global team.

What we look for in you:

  • 10+ years experience scaling and streamlining recruitment process, candidate experience, and metrics and analysis on efficiency
  • 5+ years in management positions
  • 2+ years managing managers across multiple continents
  • Ability to design, build, launch and maintain processes, programs, and tools/systems that optimize for speed and candidate experience
  • Proven track record driving change management within a team and across a company
  • Analytics depth to assess progress internally and report on progress externally
  • Strong history of growing and developing teams: Hire, coach, develop, and inspire a global team of individual contributors, leads, and managers by defining career growth paths, scope, and overall vision
