Inbound Business Development Representative – LATAM

We are hiring an Inbound Business Development Representative to be the first point of contact as potential customers in Latin America request information from Degreed. You will report to the Manger, Enterprise Sales Development on the sales team, and work directly with a wide range of team members throughout the LATAM region.  As the sole Inbound team member in LATAM, a full working proficiency in both Spanish and Portuguese is required for this role.

  • Manage lead flow and own follow up on Inbound requests from all countries within the LATAM region
  • Engage prospects through outbound calls, emails, and social mediums
  • Qualify and have first discussions with the prospects to ensure product fit and potential
  • Evaluate and pre-qualify leads through web research
  • Partner with marketing to drive attendance and follow-up for webinars and events
  • Maintain data integrity and activity records
  • Remain proficient on industry trends

  • Full Professional (C1) or Native Proficiency (C2) in both Spanish and Portuguese
  • Enthusiasm for sales, 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Strong ability to handle objections and immediately provide value to the prospect
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to understand multiple products for different prospects
  • Experience presenting complex solutions to complex problems
  • An eagerness to learn and an ambition to grow, comfortable providing and receiving regular feedback

  • Working Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in sales tools. Ex. Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, and outreach
  • Experience working in SaaS sales
  • Knowledge of human capital technology
