What you’ll do
As a financial analyst at Eaze, you are trusted to apply your technical experience to solve difficult problems in a new and rapidly evolving industry. In this position, you will be joining the team that focuses on analyzing financials and creating detailed budgets for all departments and entities in the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement processes and procedures around financial reporting.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop other workflows that support operations including workflow implementation and documentation.
  • Identify, acquire, synthesize, and analyze data for forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and other special projects.
  • Monitor Finance and budget KPIs on a weekly basis and make recommendations to relevant stakeholders on cost savings and efficiency.
  • Conduct monthly GL analysis to validate that expenses are being booked correctly across entity, location, department, and category. Work with the Accounting team to get incorrect bookings fixed before month-end close.
  • Support in creating PowerPoint decks for key investments, initiatives, and board meetings.
  • Perform market research on and organization of all MSA opportunities. Support in project management of various ongoing initiatives.
  • Our ideal candidate:

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience (ideally in public accounting, consulting, etc. other backgrounds also considered)
  • Experience with SQL and VBA , or willingness to develop usable understanding in a short time frame
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of comfort working all levels of management, employees, and vendors
  • Analytical mindset and a focus on process improvement. Former experience in Retail and/or Ecommerce is a plus
  • Big 4 experience preferred
