Manager, Web Production

Fastly understands the importance of a marketing website in the era of buyer-led business-to-business purchasing. Due to its importance, we’re looking for someone who can apply product management skills towards the ongoing development of our marketing site. As a Manager, Web Production, you will become deeply familiar with the site's users and their preferences. You will also become proficient in what website improvements can make the most meaningful business impact and build a roadmap for the site that drives us forward. And you will understand and partner with your extended team including your creative, technical, and analytical collaborators.

What You'll Do

  • Build and own the marketing site roadmap including developing a compelling vision, socialization, understanding capacity of internal teams, prioritization, and communicating customer insights to our web development team.
  • Ensure we are testing and running CRO and UX experiments that are tracked all the way into our customer relationship management system. Optimize the site to drive key business objectives, not just clicks and form submissions.
  • Represent a global vision. Understand how our main site and localized sites are experienced by our users and reflect that in your approach to roadmap planning from the beginning. 
  • Be accountable for our core web metrics and run regular analysis to surface opportunities for improvement.
  • Help our creative and front-end development team members understand the impact of their work on the marketing site and our metrics. 
  • Evangelize the impact the marketing site has on our business.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years experience managing people
  • 6+ years of relevant experience (ideally in web management, web marketing, or product management).
  • You have a global perspective and have experience working on sites across the world in multiple languages.  
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills; you are a clear and thoughtful communicator.
  • You are relentless in the pursuit of growth with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding goals. You want Fastly to win!
  • You have strong analytical abilities and experience with data analysis and reporting. Experience in Google Analytics, HotJar, Conductor or Google Search Console preferred.
  • You are the go-to team member with a history of establishing trusted relationships and always work across internal orgs to do what’s best for the customer.
  • You are comfortable establishing a strategic roadmap, bringing others in on your vision, and regularly report out on your progress.

In accordance with applicable law, Fastly’s minimum base pay for this role if hired in Colorado is $103,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fastly's equity plan. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations. Note that this role is available to candidates outside of Colorado and different minimum compensation may apply.
