About the Position
As a manager, you understand our product in a soup-to-nuts fashion and can boil down the platform offering to truly match the audience they are speaking to. Internally you keep our machine oiled, understanding how to talk across departments and how to motivate, align, and drive the organization; to surpass goals and exceed expectations. The Sales Development Representatives need to understand the power of marketing and the value of solution selling to turn general market interest into real business opportunities for FiscalNote.You will be responsible for managing a team of inside Sales Development Managers & Representatives to achieve and exceed their call scheduling objectives.
About you
Motivating, empathetic, a critical thinker, and metrics minded. An obvious mentor for ambitious SDRs looking to build successful careers in business development. Consistent in expectations, fair in assessments, able to have difficult, constructive conversations about performance, strategy and tactics. Excited by the ability to tap into a huge, valuable segment of the market and turn both hot and cold leads into revenue opportunities for the company.

What to Expect in this Position:

  • Manage, motivate, and evaluate a team of 40 SDRs and Managers
  • Create and implement coaching plans that strengthen improvement areas and drive our team to overall excellence. 
  • Track key data points such as SDR activity, meetings set and held, and opportunities created.
  • Measure and improve MQL qualification and conversion rates
  • Develop and coach SDRs in their careers, preparing them for roles of increasing responsibility and scope.
  • Work extensively with sales and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, SalesLoft, Marketo,Gong)
  • Provide sales mentorship to SDRs
  • What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing and coaching SDRs and Managers
  • Working with Sales Automation (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation Tools (Marketo, Pardot, eloqua, etc)
  • Strong Salesforce acumen and experience
  • Prospecting, Cold Calling and Direct selling/closing experience (software or services strongly preferred)
  • Experience collaborating with the marketing team’s demand-generation operation
  • Success in overachieving quotas and targets
  • Ability to develop talent
  • Excellent in writing skills, communication, teamwork, and people management skills
  • Mentoring and coaching experience
