Flex is an early-stage, remote-first FinTech startup that is bringing flexible payments to recurring bills. It’s hard to believe that it’s 2022 and you’re still not able to choose when you pay your bills. Flex is here to change that! Flex is a multi-bill platform. We began by revolutionizing rent — Americans’ largest recurring bill. We enable our users to pay rent and bills throughout the month on a schedule that better fits their finances. With Flex, everybody can better manage their bills and budget. After deliberately keeping a stealth profile as we built up unprecedented investor support and an enthusiastic user base, we plan to scale to 300 team members in 2022. We're scaling up and excited to add our first dedicated Recruiting Manager to support our core teams (Operations, Marketing, Finance, Support etc) . Since the beginning of the year we've more than doubled our headcount and are on track to end the year with closer to 300 employees! In this role, you will partner directly with execs and hiring managers to attract and engage with top talent while contributing to an exceptional candidate experience for each candidate throughout the process. We're a small lean team at the beginning of an incredible journey to make it easier for anyone to pay their bills. 

What you'll do

  • Operate as a player / coach and a foundational partner to our core business units 
  • Partner with hiring managers across Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Support to engage and present highly qualified candidates quickly
  • Source and engage with top talent while building long-term relationships with candidates
  • Take initiative and create job descriptions with hiring managers by understanding the required skills and background, the impact of the role, and the ideal fit to the team and company
  • Manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Build and implement creative diversity and inclusion hiring strategies

  • Strong technical recruiting background and ability to calibrate quickly while ensuring a great candidate experience
  • Experience hiring in a high growth startup
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Proven track record of engaging passive candidates and building relationships with talent across diverse networks and communities
  • Clear communication, structured thinking, highly organized and able to juggle multiple competing priorities
