Marketing Manager – Client Services – Remote Opportunity

HLK is looking for an experienced marketing manager to join our growing team in our Health division. This role will report to a Product Line Director and can be based anywhere in the U.S. The right candidate will have an established track record managing marketing efforts and driving business outcomes in a corporate or agency setting. 
The candidate will oversee marketing, advertising, and communications programs for a portion of the business in a one-of-a-kind agency relationship. They will play a role of marketing team member for our client and be the key point of contact for the client’s business contacts. The candidate will have strong marketing strategy, leadership, and communication skills, a bias to action and results, and comfort working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. 
The candidate will liaise with a number of centralized and decentralized (field) clients to develop marketing campaigns and plans to solidify brands, move the product line’s performance and growth, and engage with current customers.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with central and field marketing clients to understand business objectives and set up cadence for communication of results/progress
  • Work with planners and client service directors to understand business objectives, internal and competitive opportunities, customer insights, and marketing communications strategies and tactics
  • Create and build marketing tactics in collaboration with the team that are aligned with business goals
  • Leverage industry best practices while using data and insights to challenge conventional thinking 
  • Provide new and innovative approaches to reaching diverse audiences 
  • Build thorough knowledge of all agency departments and offerings to allow for proper plan recommendations 
  • Understand baseline KPIs for tactics in concert with total organizational objectives and KPIs
  • Direct marketing and communication programs 
  • Interpret and clearly communicate business goals and strategic plans to drive successful output
  • Develop briefs and make sure there is a common understanding of objectives between the client and the working team
  • Lead key meetings, engaging in strategic discussions and understanding business needs
  • Prioritize and manage your own workflow for on-time delivery
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the client’s business, audience and industry in order to proactively contribute ideas and solutions
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing research, business administration or related field
  • Minimum of five years of marketing leadership experience in an agency or large organization
  • Experience working with and building relationships with cross-functional teams 
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Possess an integrated background with online/offline expertise 
  • Demonstrate superior oral, written and strategic abilities
