  • Use your voice, share your perspective, and have a real impact based on your point of view
  • Be empowered to show up as your authentic self and choose a work style and location where you can do your best work, whether that’s at home, in an office, or a blend of the two.

How you’ll impact HubSpot and our Customers:

HubSpot’s Business Systems Analyst team manages the corporate systems we use to run our business. This role sits on the BA team within our Product organization and is responsible for driving automation strategy and enablement for our Flywheel go-to-market teams.

In this role, you will be focused on automation at HubSpot – you will support creating and driving core KPIs to ensure that teams are being productive. You will maintain our current Center of Excellence, pilot new automation systems, and innovate with new large scale initiatives to drive efficiencies and decouple headcount from our business growth.  You will work with PMs, engineering, IT, and our operations teams to continuously improve our products and the systems that underpin them. We focus on high-impact, large, cross-functional initiatives that scale.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Be the co-owner of our Flywheel Automation Center of Excellence (CoE).  That means maintaining our current CoE, and updating training and governance as new systems are added.  You’ll also feel ownership over how automation tools are used, the output of those programs for our GTM teams, as well as managing the risk associated with these tools and processes.
  • Run the pilot and rollout of new technology (RPA, for example) working across our GTM teams for successful use case collection, pilot, rollout, and metric collection / monitoring.
  • Monitor our HubSpot product capabilities and craft guidance and governance for what automation should be used and when for our GTM teams within our core product offering.
  • Forge connections with our teams working on AI / ML to ensure that we’re driving towards a cohesive strategy.
  • Be the voice of automation for our Flywheel go-to-market teams.
  • Drive low code / no code solutions

About You:

  • You have cohesive experience with automation systems and strategy while building and maintaining a CoE
  • You’ve piloted new automation systems successfully on a company-wide basis
  • You’re worked as a manager (direct reports) and leader of programs and are able to bring disparate teams together toward a common goal
  • You’re able to distill highly technical concepts and explain them to non-technical folks
  • You can zoom in to the weeds of a technical problem, and zoom out to discuss automation and company-wide strategy
  • You have a deep technical understanding of the systems and automation ecosystem
  • You are someone who deeply loves solutioning and problem solving.  In your spare time you enjoy learning about new systems or technology.
  • You are a creative problem solver – you don’t take problems or solutions at face value.
  • You are comfortable voicing a dissenting opinion.
  • You are a teacher and coach – you enjoy working and collaborating with others and helping others learn new technologies.
  • You are comfortable speaking with an executive audience.
  • You are a leader and an advocate of DI&B.  You actively create psychological safety for the teams you are a part of.

It’s awesome, but notrequired if you have:

  • A background in engineering, computer science, enterprise systems, and / or automation a plus
  • Experience working on product teams
  • Skills with RDBMS, SQL, ETL, and data integrations
  • Programming knowledge and/or experience with scripting languages (JavaScript (Node.js) / Python) or expertise in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS skills or lower-level language (Java or C#)
  • Understanding of DevOps
  • Experience leveraging AI/ML, NLP, chatbots, etc.
