Are you motivated by working with leading brands to create unique and remarkable sponsored event experiences & activations? If so, you may be the perfect fit for the Global Events Team at HubSpot. 

We’re looking for an ambitious, driven and experienced Partner Manager who can build out our portfolio of Strategic Account Sponsors at HubSpot’s annual flagship event, INBOUND, as well as a series of internationally-focused GROW events.

Responsibilities:

The Sponsorship Partner Manager, reporting in to the Manager, Sponsorships & Partnerships for Global Events, will be responsible for developing, closing and managing relationships with both HubSpot strategic partners (internal) and net new strategic partners (external) in an effort to drive new business growth and YOY retention. 

To be successful in this job you will need to:

  • Exceed annual individual revenue targets while also maintaining a ‘helping the team win” mentality
  • Build and execute a strategic plan for business growth through relationship development with prospects and existing partners, while leveraging key internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Manage high level strategic partnership objectives (contracts, program development) as well as day-to-day activities of client management 
  • Ideate, pitch, negotiate and sell customized digital and in-person sponsorship packages that drive value for the client’s stated objectives and also ladder up to the Global Events sponsorship strategy
  • Collaborate with Sponsorship Account Manager to ensure smooth transition of sold sponsored campaigns to fulfillment stage
  • Oversee overall program activation and maintain a standard of excellence in delivering for sponsors
  • Continually identify and help develop new opportunities for monetization, or partner value-add (non-cash), within the Global Events portfolio
  • Stay up to date on industry trends in sponsorships/advertising, key players and developments via industry organizations, media and relationships

We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Results driven and client focused; Able to continually solve for the client while weighing against event goals, capabilities and budgets
  • Goal-oriented, passionate individual who is comfortable managing multiple projects at any given time, while maintaining focus on goals and deadlines
  • Experienced working on native advertising or sponsored programs. I.e. sponsored content sessions, branded content & integrated partnerships
  • Strong interpersonal skills – one who can tailor a message to the audience
  • Relationship builder who can manage larger endemic strategic partnerships as well as uncover net new non-endemic partnerships that fit tangentially with our audiences
  • A thought leader & industry expert who can challenge partners to think differently as to uplevel their campaigns and or activations
  • Analytical mind that is able to identify and articulate the sales positioning and creatively architect the package and pricing to close the deal as well as report out post campaign
  • Proficient in Google Suite and comfortable building / iterating proposal decks and supporting materials (i.e. financial breakdown spreadsheets)
  • Experienced working with project management software such as Asana, Trello or Smartsheet etc.
