As the Senior Manager of Customer Marketing, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our customers feel connected to us and that renewals are secured, thus bolstering and growing our relationships with our customers. 
The Sr. Manager will be an expert collaborator who works closely with other teams to build programs that will help us to retain and grow our customer base.  They will work at the intersection of our marketing and customer success worlds to optimize adoption and retention (deeply and at scale) by designing and driving a variety of multichannel programs. They will work hand-in-hand with our CS, Revenue, and Product organizations. They will also work closely with our various marketing functions, namely, content, customer advocacy, cross-sell and digital teams. 
This person will be responsible for establishing a process for engaging customers with delightful marketing and tracking the impact of that engagement. The ideal candidate will have or quickly develop deep product knowledge and relationships that will allow him/her to immediately hit the ground running.
The Senior Manager, Customer Marketing will report to the Director of Integrated Marketing

Here’s What You Will Be Doing

  • Build the next generation of Instructure’s customer marketing function with support from the Director of Integrated Marketing and strong cross functional relationships with Customer Success, Renewal, Revenue Operations and Marketing.
  • Develop strategy for, and manage multi-channel customer journeys that delight customers drive retention/renewals
  • Become the expert in our customer journeys and a strong customer advocate.
  • Champion best-in-class experiences across our channels. 
  • Report on campaign insights to understand business impact. Partner with revenue operations to critically assess and forecast impact.
  • Oversee daily operations of digital channels and all aspects of campaigns.
  • Work with cross-functional global teams to develop and iterate on campaigns that meet business objectives while also supporting our lifecycle marketing strategy.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on customer marketing. 
  • Collaborate with other marketing departments and business units (including but not limited to revenue operations, marketing operations, product marketing, paid media, email, content marketing
  • Here’s what you’ll need to know/have:

  • 5+ years of experience creating successful marketing/ demand-generation/ customer marketing or marketing operations campaigns, with multi-channel experience in enterprise or mid-market B2B SaaS.
  • If not customer marketing experience, you likely have a digital, demand generation or marketing operations background.
  • Global/ multinational experience is a plus.
  • Excellent digital marketing skills across Salesforce (or similar CRM), Marketo (or similar marketing automation platforms such as Pardot/ Eloqua ). Experience in Google Analytics,Gainsight, tableau is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork and project management skills
  • You are analytical and data-driven You are a self-starter with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with global stakeholders
