In this role, you will become a member of pulseData’s rockstar engineering team. You will be focused on ensuring the data we use is cleaned and ready to go into our data pipelines. pulseData leverages data science and machine learning for Hospitals and Healthcare companies, to identify patients at risk of costly and avoidable medical outcomes. Our bespoke suite of products not only impacts our customers, but it prevents the suffering of thousands of patients who can receive the care they need before they know they need it. The work you’ll do here has a massive impact.
The Role:
Actively work with the data received from our clients and complete such tasks such as validation checks, and advanced analytics.
Learn and integrate with pulseData’s core product and work on client deliverables.
Perform Q&A work such as checking data quality, and checking client deliverables.
Work with all types of healthcare data, primarily medical record data and claims data.
Work with clients directly and flex your python skills where necessary.
Your Background:
Quantitative degree preferably in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Data Science.
Analytical mindset and eagerness to solve technical problems with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
Experience in working with large-scale data to solve valuable business problems is a plus.
Strong technical abilities in Python and experience using SQL and Spark ideally.
Experience and/or exposure to: CMS, CCLF files processing, HL7 data feeds, or FHIR format is a plus.
Bonus points for experience/strong knowledge in value based care.
