This key team member is responsible for the satisfaction of important clients in our portfolio and provides customer service, account planning, and project management for assigned client accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to manage multiple science, engineering, and technology client accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee marketing campaigns for B2B science, engineering, and technology clients from RFP to launch.

  • Act as primary liaison between clients, High Touch Group management or creative teams, and key stakeholders.

  • Coordinate the client onboarding process, which includes documentation and assessment of a client’s marketing needs, KPIs, and initial account planning.

  • Develop annual marketing plans, write project briefs and timelines, and provide project oversight to ensure consistency with the marketing plan, mitigate “scope creep”, and adherence to the client’s contract and budget.

  • Prepare monthly and annual reports for each client.

  • Understand client KPIs and make recommendations for strategy adjustments, as needed.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant science or technical information and market trends.

  • Ability to make professional presentations to potential clients, current clients, and colleagues. 

  • Manage in-house and client communication via project management tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in B2B marketing or business development in a science, engineering, or a related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science- or engineering-related field, such as biology, chemistry, or biomedical engineering. Marketing, business, or similar degrees considered.

  • Highly effective internal and external communication, time management, organization, accuracy, problem solving and project management skills.

  • Strong work ethic and a high degree of personal integrity is required.

  • Knowledge of current marketing trends and key concepts.

  • General scientific literacy and acumen.

  • Must be a resourceful self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience working in biotechnology, life sciences, technology, advanced materials, or cybersecurity industries.

  • Experience with specific aspects of marketing or business development, which could include any of the following:

    • Market research, including NPS calculation, survey development, and industry report creation.

    • Design software, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.

    • Experience with website development and maintenance, including common content management systems, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Other Requirements:

This is a full time, remote position. Occasional travel to attend meetings, trade shows, or other events is required. The ability to reliably work remotely, collaborate with a team across multiple time zones, and complete work on time is a must.
