 December 3, 2021
Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, USA (Remote)

We are seeking Operations Insights & Planning (I&P) Analysts to drive and enable business performance in Ops’ Supply Chain Operations pillar.

I&P’s vision is to be the COOs for Stripe Ops, working cross-functionally with global teams to drive and enable the business by clarifying strategic priorities and plans, surfacing critical insights, developing go-to-market and operating models, and driving execution and accountability. I&P questions the status quo: as we grow, effective processes and insights are our currency for reducing coordination cost and maximizing budget impact. We help translate strategic visions into profitable operations, enabling the business through productivity and experience improvements.

The I&P Analyst, Supply Chain will drive the data strategy and improvements for the global supply chain team in close partnership with Operations managers. You will lead data integration across the entire Supply Chain ecosystem within and outside of Stripe, inform our strategy across multiple cross-border flows, guide roadmaps during product build-out, and measure performance post-launch. The ideal candidate is comfortable straddling metrics across Operations, Business and Technology, in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

If you are incessantly curious, eager to solve big data challenges, relentless, passionate about helping users, and interested in diving into a quickly-growing team and company, we want to hear from you.

You will:

  • Wrangle large, highly complex datasets into actionable insights
  • Build and own the global Supply Chain and logistics data strategy and roadmap
  • Perform analyses, conduct research, build models, and deliver objective, critical insights that shape and enable Supply Chain strategy and execution for Stripe and our users
  • Develop and analyze key metrics for the health of our Supply Chain operations
  • Influence and drive cross-functional change by partnering with stakeholders across a wide internal network including Supply Chain Operations, Product/Engineering, Data Science, and more
  • Help design, optimize and drive a standard cadence of operations to deliver critical insights (e.g. weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews) with efficiency and strong controls
  • Initiate, scope and drive cross-functional projects at the org, regional, and global levels to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our Supply Chain operations
  • Partner with Data Science on the identification and creation of relevant data and data pipelines  and deep statistical models

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 4+ years of prior experience in analytical roles
  • Prior experience working in or with Supply Chain, Operations, and 3PL including freight forwarders
  • Outstanding analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Mastery of SQL and a strong understanding of data relationships
  • Expertise working cross-functionally using data insights to drive business and operational goals
  • Knowledge of statistical computing and experience working with large datasets
  • Project management skills and ability to hold others accountable for results

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments (e.g. high-growth internet or software company, management consulting)
  • Proficiency in R, Python, or another statistical programming language
  • Experience utilizing machine learning in a production environment
  • Experience with Tableau

You should include these in your application:

  • Your resume and/or LinkedIn profile
