Tripadvisor is seeking an Analytics Specialist to join a newly formed and highly motivated team that manages and develops our Key Account supply for Hotel/OTA and 3rd party partnerships for our new direct to consumer product: Tripadvisor Plus.

What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Global Director, Client Services Trip Plus, your work includes:

  • Leverage Tripadvisor data from various sources, combined with excellent communication and presentation skills to:
  • Offer insights and client specific recommendations for performance optimization, ensuring client KPIs are met
  • resent up & cross-sell opportunities and optimization recommendations to clients – in Quarterly Business Reviews and other forums
  • Support the Sales team and client with data-intense, advanced performance analysis & campaign optimization – in close collaboration Data Science & Product teams
  • Provide custom reporting to sales and clients
  • Be an analytical thought leader to the client service team, understanding client objectives, needs and campaign performance in order to provide strategic insights & recommendations. Translate recommendations into clear and actionable tactics for the client
  • Work closely with the Product team to gain thorough knowledge about the relevant products, act as a Product expert for Sales and partners: answering functional questions around products, features tools and reporting, provide input to the product roadmap
  • Design and deliver trainings to the client service and sales teams on new products, features & reports
  • Work closely with analytics teams and other teams responsible for data sources, taking an active role in identifying business challenges and developing best practices to address/resolve these
  • Build and develop a plan to grow adoption and optimization for the Tripadvisor Plus product
  • With the goal to develop new reporting dashboards, you will execute on a strategy by building  sales support and optimization material, across potential new and existing partners globally
  • You will develop a process to enhance pitch decks with data insights for our ENT sales
  • You will build internal relationships to support our team goals and in particular work closely with Analytics, B2B strategy, Product to drive Pricing analysis on Trip Plus supply
  • Uncover actionable insights that position Tripadvisor partners’ business to meet KPIs driving incremental suppliers and uncover perks and rewards into our Trip Plus program
  • Exercise strong judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Creates formal internal networks involving coordination among groups. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures to share business objectives and KPIs to measure that framework 

Who you are/what you have:

  • Campaign analytics skills in a technical/business field, with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in data analysis & technical sales preferably within the online industry
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of SQL, Tableau and experience with utilizing Python or R to analyze large data sets and create visualizations
  • Expert understanding of Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills. The ability to combine creative use of insight and data with attention to detail, while balancing these details with the larger business objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication, the ability to listen, great interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be interacting daily with multiple key internal & external stakeholders
  • Ability to drive and own projects and work to a deadline, prioritizing workloads effectively
  • A self-starter who demonstrates initiative, entrepreneurship, and tenacity while working independently. Thrives on challenges and works proactively
