A leading Loan Services firm in the US is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test focused on Python to join a growing team to work on a web application that improves correspondent lending system. The ideal candidate is a smart, roll-up your sleeves individual who is willing to jump in and aspire in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for automated testing of Web UI, APIs, E2E and database applications.
• Supporting a full product release cycle, including support of deployments to production.
• Create and update test automation standards, policies, and test scripts.
• Build metrics, logging, analytics and alerting for performance and security across all endpoints and applications.
• Improve deployment processes to reduce the chance of downtime and critical bugs.
• Develop/improve engineering workflows and best practices.

Requirements

• Solid experience in roles with SDET-related tasks.
• Strong Python programming experience.
• Broad knowledge of software testing tools and techniques.
• Experience with API testing.
• Exposure to testing web applications.
