Salary: $90,000 – $100,000+ salary + 10% Annual Bonus + Benefits

Marketing Product Manager Description

Our client specializes in wholesale products for the food service industry, and they are looking for a strategic and analytical Marketing Product Manager to add to their team just north of Houston, Texas. This is a hybrid remote opportunity for local candidates with the requirement to work in the office 2-3 days per week. In this role, you will generate business intelligence to create customer-focused marketing plans that are sales driven and well-positioned against the competition. This position is roughly 50% analytical and 50% product management. The ideal candidate is very data-driven and will have proven experience managing the full life cycle of tangible products. Marketing Product Manager Responsibilities

• Create and implement marketing plans that are data/sales driven and customer-focused
• Lead product category management and develop strategies to grow revenue
• Analyze and identify category development opportunities
• Oversee new product development pipelines, tracking, item maintenance, and reporting
• Suggest inventory levels for both new product launches and end-of-life product
• Support eCommerce sales expansion and retail sales initiatives
• Lead efforts to increase knowledge of key competitors and share insights internally
• Assist with the creation of training materials for the Sales Team
• Maintain master data details across product offerings and specs
• Manage AQ (AutoQuotes) relationship and ensure content accuracy
• Ensure product lifecycle marketing (PLM) is an optimized product mix

Marketing Product Manager Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing required
• 3+ years of professional experience marketing a tangible product required
• Demonstrated analytical background and data-driven thinking required
• Strongly proficient working with Excel (formulas, linking data, drawing conclusions) required
• Experience working with an ERP system required
• Project management experience involving the full life cycle of a product required
