Why be a Human Resources Intern at Unanet?

Now is an exciting time to be part of Unanet’s Human Resources team.  During your internship you will have an opportunity to work with experienced HR professionals and assist with a variety of initiatives focused on enhancing the end-to-end employee life cycle experience, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, employee development, benefits/wellness, HR Compliance, and HR Analytics.  

Who You Are 

  • Current undergraduate student, ideally in Human Resources, Business, or Communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be technologically savvy
  • Understand the need for confidentiality as it relates to people data
  • Inquisitive and eager to learn
  • Driven by curiosity
  • 3.0 GPA or higher

What to Expect

  • Our team will be conducting interviews during the months of February and March
  • We will make selections in April and May for our 10-week program
  • All interns will start on June 6, 2022 and conclude the internship program on August 12, 2022

Your Summer

  • Participate in our weekly HR team meeting and Friday standup
  • Participate in weekly 1:1’s with your mentor and/or members of the HR Team
  • Introduction to Human Resource Systems
  • Assist with requisition creation and interview scheduling
  • Attend resume workshops and mock interviews with the Talent Acquisition team
  • Assist with digitization of employee records
  • Assist with the documentation of HR processes
  • Assist with planning of employee events
  • Assist with the development of training program materials and PowerPoint presentations
  • Learn HRIS Reporting
  • Assist with processing leave requests
  • Work cross-functionally with leaders from across our business
