The Opportunity:

The VirtualHealth team is looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to lead our B2B content marketing strategy. The candidate will plan, write and execute compelling content marketing strategies to differentiate VirtualHealth in the marketplace and highlight our thought leadership in the industry. 

The ideal candidate has a deep B2B SaaS Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of content projects end-to-end, including research, content development, content amplification and performance measurement. 

Our Content Marketing Manager will oversee all elements of the content strategy for VirtualHealth and will work closely with the marketing team and agency partners to execute on our content strategies. Candidates should have experience across a variety of content tactics including thought leadership (whitepaper / case study), blog, social and video content. To be successful in this role, the candidate should be creative, highly professional, a self starter and detail oriented. The Content Marketing Manager will play a significant role shaping the company’s narrative, thought leadership and lead generation activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation and delivery of content campaigns across various marketing channels including digital, social, e-mail, public relations, and paid media
  • Significant B2B content development experience including whitepapers, case studies, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, webinars, and videos
  • Manage the content pipeline and editorial calendar in partnership with the marketing team and agency partners
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for content and optimize and report on the performance of content activity and engagement
  • Work with senior leadership, product, client success and sales to build content strategies that support consumer engagement, acquisition and retention
  • Partner with digital, creative and agency partners to deliver on marketing’s strategic objectives and tactics on a timely basis
  • Connect a strategic focus on content to brand, data and analytics, distribution, and growth objectives
  • Demonstrated writing skills with a focus on B2B lead generation (samples will be requested)

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience with focus in B2B content marketing roles
  • Proven track record in a strategic content marketing leadership role Content Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing successful content marketing and thought leadership strategies
  • Solid knowledge of SEO and content amplification tactics
  • Ability to develop content performance benchmarks and track content performance KPIs
  • Writing samples spanning social, blog, whitepaper / case study will be requested
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinking
  • Experience in the health insurance industry is preferred
  • BS degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field preferred
