Punch is seeking a dedicated, proactive Social Media Editor to join its growing team. The ideal candidate has a deep appreciation and interest in the culture of drinks and nightlife, experience creating social-first content, excellent copywriting skills and an eye for social media trends.

Punch’s Social Media Editor will be responsible for creating and publishing daily social content, growing and engaging with the Punch community and working closely with Punch’s Director of Audience Development, Programming and Art Director.


  • Grow audience, reach and traffic on social platforms, work closely with director of audience development to define goals and benchmarks
  • Write social copy for Instagram, Facebook and more 
  • Pitch and write weekly Instagram stories  
  • Work with Punch’s audience development director and editorial team to develop new social rubrics and social-only content series
  • Oversee freelance social content creation, managing the process from assignment to publish 
  • Support Punch’s audience development director in editorial production and calendar management
  • Analyze and interpret data
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor engagement
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, current technologies and trends in social media 


  • Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience managing a brand’s social media presence, including content creation, analytics and reporting  
  • Knowledge of, or curiosity about, drinks and nightlife—and the motivation to learn more
  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail and an eye toward clean copy
  • An excitement for how social media can help stories reach new audiences 
  • Passion for the topics we cover at Punch 
  • Excellent focus and the ability to work independently
  • Photo / video editing and graphic design skills are a plus, but not required
