Founded in 2013 and based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Waitr operates an online ordering technology platform, providing delivery, carryout and dine-in options. Waitr, along with Bite Squad and Delivery Dudes, connect local restaurants and grocery stores to diners in underserved U.S. markets. Additionally, Waitr facilitates access to third parties that provide payment processing solutions for restaurants and other merchants. Together, they are a convenient way to discover, order and receive great food and other products from local restaurants, national chains and grocery stores. As of March 31, 2022, Waitr, Bite Squad and Delivery Dudes operate in approximately 1,000 cities throughout the United States.
Job Summary
This position sits within our Product, Engineering, Reliability, and QA (PERQ) team, where you’ll be embedded into our squad that is responsible for 3rd Party integrations. This team’s primary objective is to grow our business by allowing our partners to send us captured orders that need fulfillment. 
You will be responsible for developing product plans and strategies to ensure our ongoing competitive position in the marketplace. This team is still relatively new but is rapidly turning into a core component of our business’ overall success. 
Job Functions
Drive product vision for your team. 
Own and continually prioritize the product backlog. 
Work with Business Stakeholders to prioritize your team’s roadmap. 
Identify success metrics for both your team and our clients. 
Dive into the data, for each of our partnerships, to surface potential issues and opportunities. 
Partner with a Project Manager to prepare weekly reports for our 3rd party integrations. 
Gather business requirements for an initiative.
Write stories and review with the tech lead for content readiness. 
Trackdown dependencies.
Attend team and stakeholder meetings. 
Create and maintain business process diagrams and documentation of configuration changes.
Assist the Training Department with creating and maintaining product-specific lessons.
Collect feedback from stakeholders on prototypes and releases. 
Draft company-wide product/feature announcements. 

Required Education & Experience

  • We’re looking for someone who: 
  • Has a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field
  • Has 2+ years of product manager or technology experience
  • Has a “get stuff done” attitude when approached with new challenges
  • Passionate about building great experiences 
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred Education & Experience

  • Bonus points if you: 
  • Have experience with Atlassian, Figma, and GitHub
  • Have engineering experience
  • Have experience with analytics tooling
  • Have experience with A/B testing and optimization
  • Physical Demands

  • Sitting at a desk for long periods throughout the day.
  • Use of computer, monitor, and keyboard for 8+ hours per workday to complete work tasks.
  • Conduct and participate in virtual meetings, and successfully communicate verbally and in writing with others.
