We are looking for an ambitious, experienced, and self-directed Digital Project Manager to drive development projects across Yelp B2B WordPress web properties, including coordinating multiple projects throughout the entire lifecycle from strategy, scoping, costing, and planning through technical and creative dependencies, production, QA, launch, and post-launch analysis.
You will play an essential role in aligning various teams to prioritize, coordinate, communicate, and execute web projects in this relatively new marketing channel for Yelp. You will collaborate with agencies, internal marketing teams (product marketing, outbound and paid marketing, creative, etc.), internal developer resources, as well as our engineering and biz ops teams to deliver effective and compelling online experiences that lead to traffic growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for data analysis with expert knowledge in web analytics, they will enjoy working with cross-functional teams and be passionate about creating online experiences that attract visitors and drive conversions. They will possess a blend of technical ability as well as strong interpersonal and strategic planning skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple web projects simultaneously. 

Where you come in:

  • Work with Yelp’s B2B web team, Product Marketing, SEO, and stakeholders to propose, strategize, design, and deliver web projects and initiatives that enhance and grow our website’s reach and impact in line with corporate goals
  • Assist business verticals with strategy, scoping, costing, and planning web projects of all sizes, from tweaks to modules to full website development and deployment
  • Write web strategy documents detailing project opportunity (working with Business Ops and web analysts), hypothesis, approach, concept, and success metrics, and collaborate with leadership and partners for alignment
  • Work cross-functionally with creatives, engineers, analysts and product managers to meet ambitious growth targets
  • Contribute to experiments including A/B and multivariate tests to measure impact, and iterate web content and experiences, optimizing visitor journeys
  • Partner with our web analytics team to plan, implement, measure, and report on website metrics; ensure maintenance of tracking across the site
  • What it takes to succeed:

  • Experience designing and leading website projects from concept to delivery and analysis. 
  • Proficiency in website information architecture, user experience, CTA hierarchy, content management, 
  • Expert knowledge of WordPress and other web tools and plug-ins
  • First-hand experience using the Google Marketing Platform, including Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager and Google Optimize
  • Comfortable with analytical tools including Excel and Tableau
  • A hands-on attitude with the ability and willingness to jump in and do web production when needed. 
  • Ability to articulate strategic plans that are aligned with larger business goals and ability to plan, budget and prioritize projects 
  • Ability to present experiment results with actionable insights and work with cross-functional teams to implement longer term solutions based on winning experiments
  • Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in web strategy and digital project management
  • Hands-on experience in web production, web design, and/or web project management
  • Ideally, both B2B and B2C experience
