Zipdev is looking for a (Human Resources) HR Generalist to join our remote team and implement various human resources programs. If you have a passion for HR, understand the importance of Onboarding, and are looking for a High-Trust team to join, this is the place to be. Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing trainings, conducting onboardings, monitoring retention, and crafting HR policies. You’ll also be the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.   • Communicate with new hires before their start date to provide necessary information (e.g. work schedules, welcome email, strength finder, contact details)
  • Conduct new hire employee orientations/onboarding and/or exit interviews
  • Organize and oversee the company 1:1 program (first week and recurring monthly)
  • Gather candidate experience feedback from new hires
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like employee turnover and retention rates
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Introduce new hires to current employees (Welcome Memos)
  • Create and update our employee handbook
  • Organize semi-annual and annual employee performance reviews
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Add new employees’ information to the company’s payroll system
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as PTO, leaves and compensation
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and organizing team building activities
  • Be familiar with the company’s disciplinary process and Performance Improvement Plans
  • Review employee time cards
  • Nurture a positive working environment by promoting HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes for internal team members
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic form


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (Tri-lingual Brazilian Portuguese is a huge plus)
  • Minimum 4 years as an HR Generalist or in a relevant HR role with a remote company in the staffing industry
  • Experience establishing an onboarding process
  • Knowledge of Google Suite; Experience with HRIS and ATS will be a plus

  • Work Remote Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
